How Do I Use the Supplier Journey?

This Supplier Journey is laid out in an interactive  “journey” fashion i.e. information is listed in a series of chronological links from preparing a bid right through to lessons learned at the end of a contract.

This means you can choose to read and/or find specific information in a number of ways as further detailed below.

When you click on Start the Supplier Journey! on the homepage, you will be taken to the Journey Overview from where you can click on either the Start Journey button or click on the interactive map to take you straight to the main station you wish to go to, as per below:

By clicking on any link on the Supplier Journey map on the left hand side of each page you can navigate to any station or substation, however if you have never used the Supplier Journey before or you are new to the public sector procurement process we would recommend starting from the beginning i.e. the Prepare station, as per below:

At any time, if you want to return to the homepage you can do this by clicking home or on the Supplier Journey logo in the top left hand corner of each page:

If you are using a tablet or a mobile to access the Supplier Journey, a menu will appear in the top right hand corner of your screen:

click on menu to and access and scroll through the Supplier Journey stations and substations and select where you want to go to:

When already in a station or a substation you can move onto the next page by clicking the Continue Journey button, or go to the previous page in the Supplier Journey by clicking on Go Back, as per below:

You can also access previous pages you have looked at by clicking on a link within the breadcrumbs which are located at the top of the page:

You can print the content of any station or substation by clicking the printer friendly link at the bottom page:

At the top of every Supplier Journey page is included a search box, in which you can type keywords for what you are looking for, and links, which will take you to the Scottish Government website, and a contact link which will allow you to send an email directly to the Supplier Journey team:

Some stations and substations contain linked text.  If you click on the link it will take you to either an external website or to another station within the Supplier Journey:

The Notify Me of Changes link at the bottom of the page allows you to sign up to receive automatic emails to inform you of any changes made to the Supplier Journey:
